Ans: My name is Aakash. I am from Bhilai, Now i am persuing Bachelor of Engineering From Rungta college of Engineering & Technology Bhiali. I have done my Schooling From Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Raigarh. My Branch is Computer Science. My Strength is self motivation.My hobby is spending time in garden.
Who are your role models?
The two traps here are unpreparedness and irrelevance. If you grope for an answer, it seems as you have never been inspired. Have a few heroes in mind, from your mental “Board of Directors” – Leaders of this industry, from history or anyone else who has been your mentor. Be prepared to give examples of how their words, actions or teachings have helped you inspire your achievements.
What is your weakness?
Do NOT mention key weaknesses here. This is not the place to say you are bad at meeting deadlines or you never mastered highschool mathematics etc. Turn this question around to your benefit. For example, you are 'overambitious' or 'extremely attentive to detail' or 'like to take on too many projects'. Make it sound positive.
What are your Hobbies?
Everyone has some or the other hobby, and if you have included them in your resume, it’s better you prepare yourself for a question on this. Know every possible thing about your hobby. For example, if photography is your hobby, you should be able to tell the interviewer about features of the camera you have, angles, shots ect. It is also advisable that you carry couple of your works.
Extra co-curricular activities?
Explain work you have done apart from your studies.
What do you know about this organization?
Indicate what you have learnt from your research activities - from their annual reports,
newspapers, word of mouth, other employees etc. Use this to flatter them and show that you have done your homework.
Are you a team player?
You are, of course, a team player. Be sure to have examples ready. Specifics that show you often perform for the good of the team rather than for yourself are good evidence of your team attitude. Do not brag, just say it in a matter-of-fact tone. This is a key point.
Why should we hire you?
Again, explain that you are very interested in the job and demonstrate what it is about your past experiences, education and qualifications that makes you ideal for the job. Show enthusiasm and support your answers with evidence wherever you can. Elaborate on all the past experiences and skill sets that make you suitable for the job. In cases where your past experience is not directly relevant, you can still find elements of it that can be useful. Play up team skills, computer skills, leadership roles, specific courses and independent research activities that can be useful to the job at hand to show your initiative even where you don't have directly relevant job experience.
Tell me about your dream job?
Be honest. Also mention keywords such as challenging, steep learning curve, good work culture, demanding, rewarding, opportunities for advancement and growth, team environment, opportunity to build and maintain client relationships etc.
What is more important to you: the money or the work?
This one will reveal the real you. Money is always important, but the work is the most important. There is no better answer.
Are you willing to work overtime? Nights? Weekends?
This is up to you. Be totally honest.
Would you be willing to relocate if required?
You should be clear on this with your family prior to the interview if you think there is a chance it may come up. Do not say yes just to get the job if the real answer is no. This can create a lot of problems later on in your career. Be honest at this point and save yourself future grief.
Tell me about the recent trends in IT industry?
Be prepared with two or three trends that illustrate how well you understand your industry. You might consider technological challenges or opportunities, economic conditions, or even regulatory demands as you collect your thoughts about the direction in which your business is heading.
If you are rejected today, then what will you do?
Well this question does not mean that they are rejecting you. So don’t get dishearten. This is more like a ‘stress question’ to judge how you react during a stress situation. This could also be because they want to know your other plans like if you have also applied for other companies or if you are very adamant about joining TCS. Either ways it does not mean that they are going to reject you. And make sure your answer is positive.
Where you’re native place is and for what it is famous?
You obviously know your native place right? But its better you also learn few things about the place as well. This is something about you, and you will be expected to know these little details.

Mr. Larry Page and Mr. Sergey Brin? Well yes. But, did you really knew this? No?
Who are the competitors of TCS in the world market as well as in Indian market?
A little study about the current market should certainly help. A good homework will reflect in your answer and that will really be impressive. This will show the interviewer that you are concerned about this interview and job.

Who is the founder of TCS?
Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata established TATA Group in 1869. However it was under Mr. Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata (JRD Tata), that this group was expanded and hence TCS was established in 1968. Currenty Mr. Ratan Tata is the Chairman of the group.
Are names difficult to remember?

Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of the company. If you did not know this basic fact about TCS, then you have not done your homework well. Be ready for such questions.

Be honest at this part, because all that the interviewer wants to know is whether your aim and goal match with the company’s objective or not.

1.Did you face any difficulty in finding this place?
The interviewer usually asks this question to initiate the talk and put the candidate to ease. You can smile and answer this question by saying: “It wasn’t difficult to find this place.”
3. Why does this role interest you? Or why have you applied for this job?
The purpose of this question is to see if you are really interested in this job or you applied to this job just because you are jobless. Relate the job requirements with your candidature and explain why do you believe you are a suitable candidate for this job.
4. Why do you think should we take you for this job?
This is another way of asking the last question. A company will want to hire you if you can add some value to it. So, focus your answer on your skills and how they can be helpful for the position you are being interviewed for. Also, tell them about your ability to grasp new things quickly, adjust well into a team and flexible attitude. These are the qualities that employers usually seek in a fresh graduate.
Remember to keep an example ready for each personal quality you offer.
5. Are you an Introvert or Extrovert?
Being on either of the extremes at work can be bad for you and the company. Your behaviour at work should be as per the requirement. To answer this question you can say something like: I behave as per the requirement of the situation. For e.g. If I am representing the company at an event which requires me to talk to a lot of people, I become an extrovert while if there is some serious issue under discussion, I think quietly and deeply on it.
6. What is your greatest strength?
This is also one of the most commonly asked questions in any interview. Your answer to this question demonstrates your preparation for the interview. Your same set of strengths can not be an advantage in every interview. This needs you to tailor make your answer as per the requirement of the position you are being interviewed for.
Before every interview, analyse the requirements of the role carefully and list out the qualities required to perform that role. Now, make a list of the qualities you have and match them with the requirements. You can offer these qualities as your strength for the role.
What do you want to achieve in the next 5 years?
This answer shows your ability to make plans for yourself, have an ambitious but realistic plan:
• Say you would like to acquire certain skills and move up the ladder
• If you are interested in Management, say you would like to take up a part-time course/full time course in x years time
Are you willing to change your project/profile when required?
This is very important for a company, they want employees who are willing to change roles, to meet business demands, so the typical answer here is “Yes”. Say “I understand it will be in best interest of the business, if my manager wants me to develop my skills and take up another role.”
What skills do you want to develop to succeed in this role?
Again talk about some key skills that are necessary for the role, this will show them that you are ready to learn and are aware of your shortcomings:
• Tell them that you, as a fresher, have the ability but formal training to enhance your skills for a professional environment
Are you planning to go for further studies?
This answer needs to be answered tactfully, they want to know whether you are going to stay for long or you are just there to use their training resources and then say goodbye in 6 month’s time.
• If you are pursuing further studies, say so. Tell them why you want to go for that course
• If you are taking up a distance education course or a part time course, they should know, as you will need to take leaves when you appear for exams
What newspaper/magazine/book do you read?
• Browse through the newspaper that morning they might ask you what was the front page headline, they might ask you your favorite columnists name
• Same goes for the magazine, make sure you have read the last edition
• When giving names of books, remember the author(s) name(s) and be ready to give out some summary of the book
Introduce yourself
This question is usually the first question they HR might ask you. This question could form a basis for further discussion.
• Discuss your family background in short
• Discuss your qualification
• Discuss your characteristics that will help you professionally
• Discuss your interest, hobbies
Tell me something about yourself that is no written in your resume.
If you missed out on some points while writing your resume this is your chance to discuss them:
• Whenever talking about yourself, be confident, but not over confident.
• Do not praise yourself all the time
• You could discuss some personal traits or acheivements
Do you know anyone who works with this company?
It is fine if you do not know anyone, but if you know it will be good to give out the name:
• This shows them about your level of interest, and it is human nature if you know someone who works there you will ask them for feedback about the company or the role
• They could ask that person for your reference
Do you have any other offer at hand?
This is usually a closing question and they might want to know how actively you are looking for a job. Usually give an honest answer and say why you are looking for another job with that offer at hand.
